The Blue Mass is a celebration of faith to pray for the safety of the dedicated men and women in law enforcement, fire/rescue, public safety and all first responders, who often risk their lives to protect those in harm’s way.
Bishop Noonan invites you to join him in the celebration of the Annual Blue Mass in honor of our local heroes. Each year, with the regalia of bagpipers, a color guard and even police officers on horseback, more than 1,000 people and 150 law enforcement officials attend to thank God for these men and women and to bless them in their next year of service. The Blue Mass will be celebrated on the Feast Day of St. Michael, the patron saint of public safety personnel. A reception will follow in the Parish Center, adjacent to the Cathedral. Free parking is available at the northwest corner of Orange Avenue and Robinson Street. Please arrive early.
