Parish Life

Active Adult Adventurers - A group of 50+ year old mature adults who meet during the year to plan activities and field trips to places of interest around the Central Florida area, luncheons, and play games. If you have time for this group we know you will make new friends and enjoy fun times! Click here for the latest activity.

AWARE - (As We Age Resources Exist) - A program especially for men and women of a “certain age”. This is primarily for 50+, seniors, retirees, and the “thinking about retiring” set. Guest speakers lead discussions about relevant life issues and resources available.

Girlfriends of St. Stephen - A social group for women of the parish who get together for activities.

Senior Christmas Dinner - A dinner held during the Christmas season for our senior parishioners.

St. Patrick's Dinner Dance - An evening of fine food and Irish entertainment.

Winter Fest/ Flea Market - These are annual events held on the church grounds, usually in February and are staffed by app. 1500 parish volunteers.

The Flea Market is a 3 day event, Friday through Sunday. It takes place the weekend prior to the festival. Planning for this huge event goes on throughout the calendar year. There is a core group of 6-8 volunteers who do the planning. It features items from A-Z, all donated by community residents. All items unsold after the flea market are donated to various community charitable organizations.

The festival is a 4 day event, Thursday through Sunday. It features carnival rides, great food selections, chidren's games, pony rides, live entertainment, bingo, silent and live auctions, terrific raffle prizes, a teen-idol contest, and much more. These events provide financial assistance to community programs such as ongoing daily care to deserving people of all denominations, general facility maintenance, and other appropriate programs.
