The Haiti Ministry develops self-sustaining projects for our adopted parish of St. Yves in Jacmel, Haiti in addition to providing for their immediate needs.
Areas of support include: Health Care, Economic Development, Education, Evangelism, and Youth. We investigate practical Capital Projects that will enhance the lives of the local population and improve the local economy and infrastructure.
While visiting St. Yves we’ve met good people who want to work and provide for their families. There are few work opportunities, however food, shelter and education are their highest priority needs.
Their markets are filled with locally grown produce and meats but there’s not enough money to purchase food.
One of our travelers saw a little girl buying a fist full of rice and a fist full of black beans. Even though she left with a smile on her face, he was left with tears in his eyes.
