Spiritual Library

St. Stephen Adult Spiritual Library in Enrichment Center 1, Room 103

The library provides a collection of books to foster the teachings of the Catholic Church and to promote Christian relationships, bringing one closer to God.

The library is available during the following times:

  • Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM
  • During the Men’s Club Pancake Breakfasts
  • During Lenten Meals
  • During night meetings held in the EC1 building

Note: The Library is not open on the days when the church office is closed and will also not be open from January to mid-February each year to accommodate the use of the facility for Winterfest and Flea Market.

This adult spiritual library collection has grown to over 1150 book titles since its opening in October 2012.

The Library contains a wide assortment of reading material, which consists of the following Main categories and their respective sub-categories:

  • Biblical Studies
  • Church Doctrine (including, Theology, Christology, Mariology, Angelology, After Life, Eucharist)
  • Church History (including, Holy Persons, Apparitions & Revelations, Holy Places)
  • Christian Life (including, Personal Growth, With Others, Healing & Comfort)
  • Christian Fiction & Humor
  • Meditations & Prayers
  • Other Religions & Beliefs

The books can be checked out for a one month period (up to a year for meditation books).

The library works on an honor system of check-out and return within a reasonable amount of time.

Due to the limitations of space, regrettably, personal donations of spiritual books can no longer be accepted.
